Nottingham's central UK location makes it a great location to base either a large corporate business or a small to medium enterprise.

With most of the UK's regions within two hours, your national customer base is easy to reach as well as any nationwide branches.The city is 90 minutes by train from London St Pancras that means you can reach mainland Europe within four hours. Nottingham's train station is due to have a £100 million revamp. The makeover will include the building of a new concourse that connects directly to the tram station, a new travel centre, and the construction of a multi-storey station car park.

East Midlands Airport, a 20-minute drive from the city centre, has flights to many of the world's top destinations including Europe, India, Africa, Pakistan, the Caribbean and Mexico. These extended links are increasing Nottingham's accessibility and reputation as an emerging global city.

In Nottingham your staff can make use of the excellent of public transport network. The NET trams allow for easy mobility to key Nottingham destinations including the train station, making for easy and quick travelling between business meetings within the city. Currently the tram line runs from the train station to Bulwell but plans are already in place to extend the network to Clifton, the south of the city, and to Chilwell, to the west of the city.

The route will cover the major business parks in Nottingham, including NG2, Beeston Business Park and Boots, as well as residential areas such as West Bridgford and Beeston. In all NET Phase Two will cost £300 million pounds and will see improved accessibility to and around Nottingham and its surrounding areas. Work is due to start on NET Phase Two in 2010 with trams running by 2013.

Commuters also have access to a regular bus route that goes to other towns and villages in Nottinghamshire and beyond. There is also the City Loop service where people can access all areas of the city every 10 minutes from Monday to Saturday. The Loop also includes the major business parks around the city as well.
