Invest in Nottingham and the East Midlands Development Agency co-hosted a visit from the UK Trade and Investment Digital Media team in May 2009. Rasik Tailor and Natalie Bain from UKTI are responsible for promoting the digital media sector to businesses looking to invest in the UK.

The Invest in Nottingham team took the representatives on a tour of Broadway Cinema, Confetti Institute of Technologies, the soon to be opened Antenna Digital Media Centre and also met with local ICT company Essendex. The team were able to highlight the growing digital media/creative sector in the city in a hope to raise the profile of the Nottingham as a potential business location for overseas businesses.
